Accounting and Financial Reporting:

Government of Saint Lucia are the responsibility of this section.

 Bank
Accounts
Where agencies require a separate bank account the Accountant General
may authorize such. The holders of those accounts are required to
present monthly reconciliation statements and to ensure that the
correct expenditure gets reported in the governments accounts.
This bank maintenance form should be used to request opening or closing
of any bank account.

The primary function of this section is the preparation of timely
accurate annual accounts and financial statements as required by
section 16 of the Finance Act. The process involves compiling all
the reconciled transactions of government agencies to show the
financial position of Saint Lucia at the end of every financial
year.
